There's a groundhog named Whistling Will. This spring day is the saddest day of his life. He doesn't want to leave home and dig his own burrow. He likes living with his parents. An only child, every day he warns his parents of danger by standing motionless and watching for hawks, owls, foxes, and wolves that likes ground hogs for dinner. Whistling Will has no choice. He had no way of knowing trouble was just around the corner.
